The 3-city Bacardi-Edward Maya India Tour kicked off with a bang in Mumbai on last Friday night, at Hype, Atria Mall. Mumbai was the first in India to witness the Stereo Love star Edward Maya spinning his hit tracks and getting audiences to groove till the wee hours. Fans flocked in hundreds to get a glimpse of the celebrated Romanian musician and composer who launched his newest single — Desert Rain. Mahesh Madhavan, President and CEO, Bacardi India Private Limited and ExCampionite Class of 1977 shared his views with us at the event, “Right from its foray into India, Bacardi has been committed towards bringing alive unique and enthralling musical experiences to its core audience. This year has witnessed the arrival of Edward Maya on the international music scene, whose tracks have been creating ripples across the dance charts globally. To bring home the Stereo Love experience to our core audience, we present the first ever Edward Maya India Tour. It’s another pioneering venture from Bacardi!”

An excited Edward said, “I have always wanted to visit India as I’ve been intrigued by the country’s varied culture, grand musical heritage and the warm, hospitable people here. In fact, I have taken a fancy for the desi beats and plan to incorporate some in my compositions. I am really grateful to Bacardi for providing me with this opportunity to reach out to my fans in India. A message for all my fans in India is — I love you all and hope to have given you the party of a lifetime at the first-ever Bacardi-Edward Maya India Tour!” The rocking series of events across Mumbai, Delhi and Bengaluru was presented by Bacardi, in association with P3Parties. com & Studio Bakers.
